In the Year 1989 the Coimbatore District Videographers Association was formed with the aim to unite all the Videographers of Tamilnadu under one roof and to form a united Tamilnadu federation for the Videographers. During the Executive Committee meeting held on 7th Oct’1991 it was proposed to organize a State Level Convention for the unity of Videographers of Tamilnadu.

At regular period of time Photography contest are being organized at District level so as to expose their talent in photography. This year also Tamilnadu Video & Photographers Association have proposed to organize a state level photography contest for the members.
